Speaker Bio

Dr. Lee Kim Erickson is the Chief Quality Officer at Wellforce in the greater Boston area. She has over 20 years of experience in health care performance improvement. She is a Lean Sigma Six Master Black Belt and has extensive expertise in quality and patient safety, process improvement methodologies, and health care transformation. Prior to joining Wellforce, she served as Deputy Physician-In-Chief for Clinical Operations at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, as the Associate CMO for Clinical Performance Improvement the University of Pennsylvania Health System, and as Chief Quality & Patient Safety Officer at the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. She works with clinical and operational departments to optimize the delivery of patient care, with a focus on expanding and strengthening the performance improvement infrastructure for health systems. She is passionate about making clinical excellence easier and rediscovering the joy in the work of delivering care. She received her MD degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1993 and completed her residency in family medicine at Brown University.
