Continuing Education Credits
Offer CPHRM Continuing Education Credit
Do you provide educational programs for health care risk management professionals? ASHRM can review and approve your program for CPHRM continuing education credit. The credits apply toward the ASHRM designations of Fellow (FASHRM) and Distinguished Fellow (DFASHRM) and towards Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Management renewal.
Eligible programs include online or in-person courses, conferences, workshops, and webinars.
Credit Calculation:
60 minutes of active learning equals 1.0 CE credit.
- Presentation time does not include time spent on general announcements, meals, breaks, exhibits or association meetings
Application Requirements
- Align learning objectives with at least one domain in the CPHRM Content Outline.
- Provide at least three clear overall learning objectives.
- Include all required (noted by an *) program details.
- Pay the $300 application fee (does not apply to ASHRM Affiliated Chapters).
Required Materials
- Detailed agenda with timing for accurate CE hour calculation.
- Faculty/presenter biographies or CVs.
- Marketing materials (flyers, emails, webpages, etc.).
Submission Timeline
- Submit your application at least 30 days before the program start date.
- An invoice link will be provided
- Payment must be completed before review.
- Your application will be reviewed within two weeks from date of submission.
- Approval Duration: Program(s) approved will have an approval period of 12 months from the date of approval.
- Program Sponsor: Responsible for monitoring attendance and furnishing each participant with evidence of attendance so that they may receive credit for the program. The retention of records of attendance is the responsibility of the sponsor.
