    Patient Safety Curriculum

    ASHRM's Patient Safety Curriculum is designed to help healthcare risk management and patient safety professionals understand and apply their key contributions to improved patient care and outcomes.  The program is available as two-part course hosted by ASHRM in July 2010, as well as local chapter-sponsored programs.

    Chapter Programs

    Host a Local Patient Safety Course
    ASHRM Chapters can host the Patient Safety Curriculum as a local educational program for their chapter members and other participants.  ASHRM works with chapters to arrange faculty, distribute handouts and other aspects of hosting the program.

    The ASHRM 2030 Fund supports advanced learning by providing educational grants to individuals and affiliated chapters.

    Education Credits

    Continuing education credits
    Visit the Programs Credits page for complete details about continuing education credits for each course. A certificate of attendance with continuing education credits awarded for each course is provided with the assumption of full attendance of each program. ASHRM may withhold a certificate for incomplete attendance, as determined by program monitors.
