Geraldine Amori, PhD, ARM, CPHRM, DFASHRM
The Risk Management and Patient Safety Institute
Geraldine Amori, PhD develops and coordinates professional development/education programs for insurers, brokers, and healthcare and consumer organizations nationally. In addition, she presents, teaches, coaches, and facilitates educational programs about risk management and patient safety issues. Amori currently serves as the Vice President of Professional Development and the Education Center at the Risk Management and Patient Safety Institute. Amori received a doctorate degree in Counselor Education from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University. She is an active member of ASHRM and was a past president of the society. She currently serves as ASHRM faculty for both the Barton Certificate Program and the Patient Safety Curriculum.
