Risk Financing for Risk Managers

 

The Risk Financing Curriculum is a five-course series designed to fit any schedule.  Participants can put new risk financing knowledge to work at their facility while they learn.

Course 1: Fundamentals of Healthcare Risk Financing 


Course Overview

Students learn about the risk management process and its key elements, such as risk identification, risk analysis, risk treatment and the use of contracts in the risk transfer process.


Course Objectives

By the end of this training, you will be able to:

  • State the reasons for identifying and analyzing potential exposures.
  • Explain the risk management process structure.
  • Identify the basic elements of risk financing.
