CPHRM Exam Prep Course

Oct. 1-2, 2008 / Boston

Registration will open in May.

PROGRAM

The Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management designation provides a credential that verifies a broad-based knowledge of risk management. Certification elevates professionals in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

Whether you are planning to take the CPHRM examination or are eligible for CPHRM renewal and want a refresher, ASHRM’s CPHRM Examination Preparation Course can help you focus on content areas for further study or review once-familiar subjects as needed.

This fast-paced, engaging and comprehensive overview of material corresponds to the six content areas of the exam (detailed in the CPHRM Candidate Handbook). While this course is not affiliated with the American Hospital Association Certification Center, which conducts the exam, and does not assure passage of the CPHRM exam, past course participants have found it to be an effective part of their exam prep program.

OBJECTIVES

By the conclusion of this two-day program, you will be able to:

*  Describe CPHRM exam components
*  Review and refresh subjects pertinent to the CPHRM exam
*  Formulate personal strategies for passing the CPHRM exam.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

The American Society for Healthcare Risk Management is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Illinois Nurses Association, an accredited approver, by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

ASHRM is authorized to award pre-approved Category II (non-ACHE) continuing education credit for this program toward advancement, or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward Category II credit should indicate their attendance when submitting application to the American College of Healthcare Executives for advancement or recertification.

ASHRM programs are approved for CE credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of FASHRM (Fellow) and DFASHRM (Distinguished Fellow) and toward CPHRM renewal.
