Hotel Reservations Procedure
To ensure availability, ASHRM is offering discounted room block rates at the conveniently located hotels listed below to registered conference attendees only May 17-Sept. 16.
To qualify for these discounted rates, hotel reservations must be made through the ASHRM Housing Bureau after registering for the conference. Details will be included with your conference registration confirmation e-mail message.
Other attendees can make their own housing arrangements after Sept. 16. Room rates and availability may vary.
Note: The conference and exhibition are being held at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S. Franklin St. Hotels listed below are located within walking distance of the site.

Rates are per room and subject to a 12% occupancy tax (subject to change).
Hotels assign specific room types upon check-in, based on availability. If the group rate is not available, you will be confirmed for the nearest available rate. Special requests cannot be guaranteed; however, hotels do their best to honor them.
Acknowledgment
Confirmations will be sent after each reservation booking, modification, or cancellation within 48 hours. Review it carefully for accuracy. If you do not receive a confirmation via e-mail, fax, or mail within 14 days after any transaction, please contact the ASHRM Housing Bureau via fax at (813) 218-3369 or e-mail at housing@visittampabay.com.

Room Guarantees
The ASHRM Housing Bureau will remain open through Oct. 6, but reservations must be booked by Sept. 16 to take advantage of special rates. ASHRM cannot guarantee rates and availability after Sept. 16, when ASHRM room blocks will be released and the hotels may charge significantly higher rates. Housing forms must be sent directly to the ASRHM Housing Bureau through Oct. 6, not to ASHRM or individual conference hotels.
A credit card guarantee of one night’s room charge is required with each request. Housing forms received without a valid credit card will be returned and will not be processed. Credit cards must be valid through October 2010 to be considered a guarantee. No cash or check deposits accepted.
Room Cancellations & Changes
The ASHRM Housing Bureau will remain open until Oct. 6 to assist with new reservations, changes or cancellations. Reservations can be cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty. After this date, the hotels will charge a non-refundable penalty of one night’s room and tax (currently 12%, subject to change without notice) for any reservations that are canceled. Contact your hotel directly with changes after Oct. 6.
