Annual Business Meeting & Recognition Event: A Celebration of Leadership
Opening Keynote: Bert Jacobs - Life Is Good

Thursday, Oct. 2, from 3-5 p.m.

President Douglas Borg and the ASHRM board invite you to ASHRM’s Annual Business Meeting & Recognition Event: A Celebration of Leadership.

We celebrate another year of building upon the risk management profession’s leadership role in healthcare by reviewing ASHRM’s initiatives related to our strategic goals. We highlight our accomplishments and invite you to applaud yourself and your peers for contributing to the success.

Our celebration also is an opportunity to focus on the future as we welcome ASHRM’s next leaders – President-elect Georgene Saliba and incoming board members.

Join us for our “Celebration of Leadership” Annual Business Meeting and an inspiring opening keynote.

With the corporate title of “chief executive optimist,” Bert Jacobs has to believe that life is good. You’ll believe, too, when he shares his story as co-founder of life is good, a $100 million enterprise known by its ever-smiling cultural hero, Jake. The Boston-based company’s quality apparel and accessories are sold in nearly 5,000 retailers nationwide and in 29 countries, and the company was named in 2007 by Advertising Age as one of 50 outstanding brands marketed today.

Jacobs’ compelling story of growing a business literally from the streets up is filled with inspiration and lessons. His energy is contagious, fueled by an innovative business approach and driven by a strong social mission. His insights on work and purpose can help you improve your role as a leader in your profession. Learn how really good life can be.
