2010 marked ASHRM’s 30th anniversary, a time to reflect on our contributions to the growth of healthcare risk management since ASHRM was founded in 1980.
We started out as the American Society for Hospital Risk Management. Now we are the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, with more than 5,300 members and 50 affiliated local chapters representing a variety of healthcare-related entities with clinical, legal and financial interests.
